Necklace composed of a 30 mm diameter medallion filled with resin in which I have embedded part of a flamboyant petal and a few particles of gold leaf.
Symbol of the austral summer, the flowering of the flamboyants also marks the beginning of the season of lychees and mangoes which adorn the tables of the people of Reunion during Christmas. It owes its name to its scarlet colored flowers.
This tree so emblematic of Reunion is synonymous with joy and celebration!
